About the Position

Job Title: Ultrasound Tech - General Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Ultrasound Tech - General Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Must be in hand prior to start date Certifications: - ARDMS - Basic Life Support certification - May be required to be registered by the American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) Must-Have: - Experience with Philips ultrasound equipment - Ability to perform independent sonographic images of pediatric patients Description: The position requires an ultrasound technician with expertise in general ultrasound. The technician will follow physician's instructions and prepare equipment for diagnostic imaging. They must correctly position patients to record requested diagnostic images. The role requires treating patients with care and respect. Candidates must have completed an accredited ultrasound training program. Travelers will float within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed. Travelers are required to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions as necessary. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required. Familiarity with various ultrasound techniques for pediatric patients is essential. This position involves working night shifts from Thursday to Saturday from 19:00 to 07:00. The position offers guaranteed hours based on shift configurations.
