Location UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion - Aurora, CO Job Details Title: Respiratory Therapist Full Time: 0.9 FTE, 72 hours per 2‑week pay period Shift: Nights Pay: $31.61 – $47.41 per hour (dependent on experience) Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Respiratory Therapist–Colorado certification. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; card valid at start of employment. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) where applicable. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) for NICU assignments and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for ED assignments, with certification within one year of hire. Responsibilities Provide top‑of‑scope respiratory therapy in a direct patient care environment. Utilize evidence‑based protocols to optimize patient outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding care. Mentor and precept new staff or students. Contribute to patient safety and quality at the point of care.
