Maintenance Technician Choose your shift: 9am to 5pm, 11am to 7pm, or 12pm to 8pm. Full-time at The Shores in Ocean City, NJ, a short walk from the beach and boardwalk. $17.49 to $18.65 per hour. The Shores, a United Methodist Communities senior living community at 2201 Bay Avenue, is home to residents in independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehab. What you'll do Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other building systems to keep our community running smoothly Respond to maintenance requests from residents and team members, delivering timely, high-quality service Perform routine preventive maintenance to help ensure equipment and facilities remain safe and reliable Accurately maintain service records, inspections, and maintenance documentation Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies to support daily maintenance operations Help create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment throughout resident apartments and community spaces What you'll need Required High school diploma or GED Able to read work orders, safety labels, and equipment instructions in English Pass a drug screen and background check Flu vaccine (medical and religious exemptions available) Hands-on repair experience in carpentry, electrical, or plumbing Nice to have Maintenance experience in senior living, healthcare, hotels, or apartment communities New to senior living?
