Join us.Job DescriptionThe Transit/Rail Department Leader & Client Account Manager – Pacific Northwest will need to be a growth minded leader who can support the Division Manager and work collaboratively with other senior leadership and mentor staff in a dynamic setting to drive business development, capture management, account management, project management, project delivery, technical excellence and quality, while ultimately growing a profitable business. The ideal person would be a civil engineer with delivery experience, and both growth and P&L experience.The responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to:Act as an external leader for AECOM and maintain a visible profile in the regionBuild and cultivate a high performing team that thrives in a face paced growth environmentSupport growth, strategy, and sale of AECOM’s Transit-Rail ServicesEmbody AECOM’s Safeguard value consistently, and driving a culture that puts safety firstDemonstrate relentless customer focus by developing meaningful relationships, identifying and adding value to client needs, and ensuring a client driven cultureWork closely with operations and other leadership as it relates to staffing, recruiting, retention, employee engagement,Support project performance, quality, safety, technical excellence, and business unit profitabilityHelp build a strong and thriving culture in the West Coast that promotes equity, diversity, inclusion, sustainability, and innovationLead negotiations of contractual and financial agreements with clients and sub-consultantsThinking strategically while driving the financial execution of the P&L for the DivisionQualificationsMinimum RequirementsBA/BS and 12+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education, including 4 years of leadership experience.Preferred QualificationsRegistered Civil Engineer in WashingtonBS Civil EngineeringDemonstrated leadership and managing large teams of people with prior P&L experienceAbility to scope/estimate complex projectsTrack and manage task budgets and schedule experienceAbility to build broad and deep internal and external networks, and capable of communicating to inspire and lead othersAbility to teach and mentor technical staff by demonstrated knowledge of relevant technical skills and toolsTeam-oriented individual with ability to work with minimal supervisionAbility to communicate clearly and simply to clients, leadership, and technical staffAbility to balance various responsibilities and deadlines while maintaining professionalism and qualityAdditional InformationVisa sponsorship is not available for this role.At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
