Revenue Specialist

Revenue SpecialistCreditAssociates, a leading direct-to-consumer financial services company based in Plano, TX, is seeking a Revenue Specialist to join its team. As a Revenue Specialist, you will ensure that we are collecting our revenue in a timely fashion as well as saving settlements that are currently in progress. This includes ensuring that we keep our company's fees on the books when they are to be collected, restructuring settlements to keep them active, reviewing fee structures to ensure that they adhere to the company guidelines, and executing a high volume of work. Our entry-level positions provide a wide range of training that will prepare you for multiple opportunities as your career advances.Responsibilities:Review accounts to ensure that all earned fees are either collected or scheduled appropriatelyProcess the refunding/reversing of fees when appropriateReview accounts to resolve various issues that could prevent the client from graduating the programAnalyze and resolve client-specific scenarios to prevent a settlement defaultReach out to clients to resolve their monthly drafting issuesReach out to creditors to resolve settlement-based issuesResearch and resolve issues that put our clients' settlements at riskCommunicate issues and trends as they occur to department managementResearch and resolve uncollected paymentsIdentify fees that can be pulled forward into this month's cash flowEdit fee structuresFollow up and resolve payment processing issuesPrevent settlement defaults by altering fee collection datesReview company policies regarding optimizing revenue collectionsRequired Skills/Abilities:Ability to problem solve with minimal supervision.Ability to work as a team player and interact with internal customers, managers, and coworkers in a professional and courteous manner.Excellent interpersonal skills.Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.Strong time management and organization skills; ability to work independently while able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.At least one year of related experience required.Proficient computer skills required with the ability to learn systems quickly.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Come Join Us!
