This inpatient facility provides emergency medical services to the regional patient population in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate resources to support quality emergency care delivery across day and night shift coverage periods. Infrastructure is in place to accommodate locum tenens clinicians during assigned shifts.

Orangeburg, South Carolina and the surrounding region offer a range of outdoor and recreational activities suited to varied interests, including water sports on the Edisto River and hiking at nearby Santee State Park. South Carolina more broadly provides access to coastal destinations, cultural institutions, performing arts venues, and natural areas such as Congaree National Park and Harbison State Forest. Clinicians on assignment will find diverse options for leisure and recreation throughout the state.

The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide inpatient clinical coverage during day and night shifts at this on-site facility in South Carolina. Clinicians must be willing to work night shifts, as shift times vary; typical shift times include 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Clinicians will evaluate and manage inpatient emergency presentations while maintaining accurate clinical documentation throughout each assigned shift. Board certification is required, and no call responsibilities are associated with this assignment.
