Senior Planner - Environmental

Our expertise offers a fresh, engaging approach to solve multi-faceted problems involving technical, regulatory, and community issues. What You Will Be Doing Lead and support projects involving federal and state environmental reviews, including NEPA, SEPA, and related special-purpose laws, along with infrastructure and corridor planning, sustainability and climate resilience assessments, and environmental compliance and permitting. Work on environmental assessments, alternatives analysis, infrastructure and transportation planning, natural and cultural resource coordination, parks and trail system planning, and policy research to support long-term community and infrastructure resilience. Guide environmental review strategies, development review, and policy updates with clients to advance sustainable and resilient project outcomes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on complex, multiagency projects that integrate natural resources, cultural resources, water resources, and community planning considerations. Provide leadership and mentorship to the environmental planning team, supporting staff development and contributing to a strong, collaborative practice. What We Are Looking For Bachelors or Masters Degree from an accredited college or university in urban and regional planning, urban studies, architecture, landscape architecture, or affiliated fields. 10+ years of progressive experience. Thorough knowledge of planning methods and applications at the local and regional level. Experience with agency and stakeholder involvement techniques and processes. Experience researching methods and statistical principles related to urban growth and development. Applied knowledge of methods and techniques for effective technical report preparation and presentations.
