Coordinator, Global Industry Management

As the Coordinator of Global Industry Management, you will drive sales calls with assigned customers to create in-depth understanding and deliver solutions to increase volume and exceed expectations. Purpose of the Position: Coordinates and manages BCO accounts under the Global Industry Management program and assists Sales Executives regularly. Monitors SOPs for BCO and communicates with local and overseas offices. Essential Functions: Evaluate potential bids for the next year's tender to increase Share of Wallet. Prepare rate quotations and coordinate with Trade Management for requests for quotes for yearly contracts. Monitor account performance and prepare reports on actual vs. nominated volumes. Assist in QBRs and customer meetings with management. Liaise with internal departments to resolve customer grievances and maintain direct contact. Provide administrative support, including file maintenance and research. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Understand shipping terms; willing to clarify location-specific terms. Knowledge of routings, schedules, practices of countries, carriers, ports, and terminals. Understand Hapag-Lloyd's offerings, routes, equipment, rates, and services. Use maps, atlases, and geographic references; identify ports and terminals; determine best ground transportation modes. Efficiently use word processing and spreadsheet software; apply other MS Office components as needed. Use questioning to identify problems and determine solutions; utilize software capabilities effectively. Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree; 5 years in Maritime Industry or equivalent experience preferred. Sales-oriented mindset. Knowledge of FIS, QlikView, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Working Conditions: Must meet physical demands such as sitting, talking, hearing, using hands, and close vision.
