You will stock cases and ensure that our customers have a variety of high-quality produce items to choose from. You will ensure complete compliance with food safety and sanitation requirements throughout your daily work. You will clean and sanitize produce department areas, preparation areas, and equipment periodically.Responsibilities:Greeting and building rapport with customers.Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.Respond to customer questions in an effective manner.Stock products and maintain product displays according to merchandising standards.Process deliveries, breaking load down onto stock carts or pallets and then transferring to the sales floor.Comply with Company policies on freshness dating and safety procedures.Maintain clean work areas by consolidating and organizing the product. Basic department cleaning upkeep.Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers.Organize items on shelves, remove expired products from displays, and assist shoppers in their daily needs.May perform other duties as assigned or required.Qualifications:Highly organized with a keen sense of details.Great listening and communication skills.Can handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting while handling products or using various equipment.Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.Hours of operation: 7am-10pm every dayPhysical demands:The physical demands and work conditions below represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Some requirements may be modified to accommodate individuals with disabilities:Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.The work environment is typical of a retail store.
