Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team in the Emergency Department. This role is essential in providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in critical situations. The position offers both 8-week and 12-week contract options, with the possibility of weekend shifts and floating between various facilities as needed.

Position Overview:

Administer and manage respiratory therapy treatments and interventions under established protocols.

Monitor patient responses to therapies and adjust care plans as necessary.

Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care strategies.

Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in accordance with facility policies.

Provide education to patients and their families regarding respiratory care and equipment.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

Current and valid RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be in hand at the time of application.

Current Ohio RRT license must be in hand.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
