This role offers a great work-life balance, competitive benefits, and the opportunity for career advancement.Tax Manager DutiesThe Tax Manager will oversee the accurate and timely preparation of tax returns for various clients. This role involves making decisions on challenging tax situations and providing expert advice to clients.Job ResponsibilitiesReview and approve all tax returns and handle complex tax examinations.Take charge of larger tax returns and delegate tasks as needed.Demonstrate expert knowledge in tax advising and technical skills.Ensure client service tasks are completed within budget and timeframe.Participate in client meetings and tax planning efforts.Act as a resource for tax specialists and staff on tax issues.Manage the preparation of complex business returns.Ensure smooth processing of tax returns and timely delivery to clients.Stay informed about tax developments and communicate important updates within the firm.Manage tax examinations and represent clients with taxing authorities.Oversee billing processes and monitor collections.Research and recommend tax preparation software.Participate in firm development activities to expand the client base.Supervisory Duties:Train and develop Senior and Staff accountants in the Tax Department.Evaluate and review the performance of Tax Department personnel.Qualifications5-7 years of public accounting experience with increasing tax complexity.Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a tax role.Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Master’s in Tax preferred.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.First Name(Required)Last Name(Required)Email(Required)PhoneResumeResume(Required)Max. file size: 100 MB.MessageDo you agree to receive text messages from Gables Search Group sent from View phone number on us.fitly.work & View phone number on us.fitly.work?
