Experienced Room Attendants - Pensacola Beach

TEL Staffing is now hiring Room Attendants for a beautiful hotel on Pensacola Beach.

Position Summary:

The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring guest rooms meet the resort’s standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation during daytime operations. This position focuses on cleaning and preparing guest rooms for arriving guests, servicing occupied rooms, and maintaining a welcoming environment that enhances the overall guest experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, guest-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional hospitality in a beach resort setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms, suites, and balconies according to resort standards.
• Make beds, replace linens, refresh towels, and ensure rooms are properly prepared for guest arrivals.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, tubs, showers, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, dust furniture, and clean all room surfaces.
• Replenish toiletries, coffee supplies, towels, linens, and guest amenities.
• Remove trash, used linens, and room service items from guest rooms and hallways.
• Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and guest readiness.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, lost-and-found items, and room deficiencies to the appropriate department.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and housekeeping-related needs.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and deep-cleaning assignments as directed.
• Follow all resort safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures.
• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to all guests and team members.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping, hotel, resort, or hospitality experience required.
• Ability to work morning shifts, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity standards.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from Pensacola Beach.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
• Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to push housekeeping carts and transport supplies.
• Capable of performing repetitive cleaning tasks efficiently.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and humidity common to beach environments.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from Pensacola Beach.

Schedule:

• Approximately 9:00am-5:00pm (May start slightly earlier and/or end slightly earlier) 
• Hours typically worked are 32-40 hrs. a week.
• Must be available to work weekends

Pay : 
Starts at $15.00/hr.

Work Environment

This position operates in a fast-paced beach resort environment and requires interaction with guests, housekeeping staff, and other resort departments. The role may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, outdoor walkways, oceanfront conditions, and varying occupancy levels.
