Physical Therapist - Outpatient Rehabilitation

A hospital in Benton, AR is seeking a Physical Therapist to join its outpatient rehabilitation services team. This role focuses on helping patients recover function, improve mobility, and regain independence through structured, individualized therapy programs in an outpatient clinical setting.

Position Overview

The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and provide hands-on rehabilitation care tailored to each patient’s condition and recovery goals. The role requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to manage a diverse caseload while working independently within established protocols.

This position also involves ongoing reassessment of patient progress and collaboration with referring providers and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver outpatient physical therapy interventions to improve strength, mobility, and function
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as clinically appropriate
• Document treatment sessions and patient outcomes accurately and timely
• Collaborate with physicians and care team members regarding patient progress
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and recovery strategies
• Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition or clinical priorities
• Work independently while maintaining high-quality clinical standards

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program required
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Arkansas required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes high-stress environment required
• Ability to function with minimal supervision required
