Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a cardiovascular operating room position requiring at least one year of recent specialty experience and FL or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) department
• 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 12-week assignment length
• Scheduled in accordance with facility policy, including every other weekend
• Holiday coverage required in rotation with hospital employees

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in cardiovascular OR/CVOR specialty
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted) not expiring within 30 days of start
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
• Two professional references required for Florida candidates

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the cardiovascular surgical setting
• Navy blue scrubs required for RN staff
• Facility has a 288-bed capacity
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, as no local candidates will be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
