Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Candidate must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility. Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (36 hours per week). Must work 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period. Job Description Join a high-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department with a focus on providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population. The RN in this role will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department. Utilize clinical judgment to evaluate patient needs and response to treatments. Implement nursing interventions based on patient assessments. Assist in managing trauma, stroke, sepsis, and STEMI cases. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse. Current RN license required. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
