What you’ll be doing In this role, you will: Operate CNC vertical machining centers (VMCs) and CNC lathes Load parts, run programs, and monitor machine performance Perform minor program edits and offset adjustments at the machine Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools Perform in‑process checks to ensure quality standards are maintained Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area This is a shop‑floor role suited for someone who enjoys steady production work and takes ownership of part quality.
