RN Behavioral Health - 12-Hour Days

Schedule

This position involves a 12-hour day shift, with variable hours from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Assignment Duration

This is an 8-week contract position.

Job Description

The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a Behavioral Health Unit. This role requires a focus on patient assessments, medication administration, and collaborative treatment planning to support the mental health needs of patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Provide a supportive environment to enhance patient well-being.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and case discussions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Behavioral Health specialty is required. A current AHA BLS certification is mandatory for this role.
