Manufacturing Test Engineer - Front Half Nights

Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology. Role and Responsibilities As a Manufacturing Test Engineer you will help assemble, test, calibrate and qualify one system or multiple systems at the same time. Our EUV light source consists of an intricate network of process gases, high power lasers, optics, electronics, mechatronics, and control systems. In this hands‑on position you will have the opportunity to work with all of these components and become a system expert. You will be the key to building a better product through building, testing and qualifying systems via issue identification and resolution, and finding potential improvements. Assemble, perform tests, calibrate and qualify EUV systems and their components. Execute system build activities including hardware installation, mechanical alignment support, and assembly verification. Use advanced hardware and software to operate, diagnose, and characterize functionality and performance. Document build completion, test execution failures observed, troubleshooting steps, and corrective actions to meet manufacturing and quality requirements. Take ownership of assigned systems, identify execution risks or deviations, and elevate technical issues when needed to ensure timely resolution and maintain production flow. Work with stakeholders from different departments and build a strong communication network. Maintain a safe work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Working Hours 18:30-07:00 Sunday‑Tuesday / Saturday‑Tuesday (alternating weekly) Shift Assignment Shift assignment is based on business need. Education and Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Physics. 1 year of EUV Source Operational experience strongly preferred. 0‑2 years of relevant experience; exceptional recent college graduates considered. Physical Demands and Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. The employee is occasionally required to move around the campus. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. May require travel dependent on business needs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents. Work under deadlines and in moderate temperature and noise levels; occasional high‑noise manufacturing or laboratory environments. Must work in a cleanroom with full gown, hood, gloves, boots, and eye protection. Compensation & Benefits The current base hourly range for this role is $31.01‑$51.68, with overtime eligibility based on the applicable work schedule. Individual pay is determined through interviews and assessments of several factors, including but not limited to job‑related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, and relative pay. Employees receive eight hours of vacation leave per month and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
