Position Overview

As a Back Office Medical Assistant , you will work under the direction of physicians and clinical staff, assisting with patient care, clinical procedures, documentation, and daily clinic operations. You will rotate among various departments, providing valuable support across multiple healthcare disciplines.

Schedule

• Full-Time: 40 hours per week

• Primary Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Must be available to work a closing shift ( 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM ) 1 to 2 times per week

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program

• Strong communication and telephone skills

• Knowledge of:

• Medical terminology

• Clinical procedures

• Administrative and clerical functions

• Current CPR certification (if applicable)

• Current PPD, Chest X-Ray, and/or Health Certificate (if applicable)

• Relevant certification or licensure, if required

• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience

• EPIC experience

• Bilingual skills strongly preferred

• Passion for working in a healthcare setting

• Commitment to creating a welcoming environment for patients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds

Pay Details:

$25.00/hour x 40 hours = $1,000/week

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant responsible for performing duties under the direction of a physician to assist in the examination and treatment of patients.

Minimum Requirements:

1. High School diploma or its equivalent

2. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification preferred

3. Good telephone communication skills

4. Knowledge of medical terminology

5. Knowledge of medical procedures

6. Knowledge of clerical functions

7. Current BLS card
