Maintenance Technician
$30 - $40 per hourLHH
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a manufacturing facility in Henderson, North Carolina. This role is responsible for maintaining production equipment, minimizing downtime, and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and experience supporting automated production equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and production lines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Support the installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new equipment and machinery.
- Maintain work orders and preventive maintenance schedules within CMMS systems.
- Partner with production and quality teams to identify recurring equipment issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE requirements, and equipment guarding.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment wear, potential failures, or unsafe conditions.
- Support plant performance objectives and manufacturing KPIs by minimizing downtime.
- Assist with 5S initiatives and maintain organized maintenance work areas.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and PLC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Experience using diagnostic tools and CMMS systems.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with automated production equipment.
- Technical diploma or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work occasional overtime or weekends if emergency repairs are required.
