Job Details Requisition #: 667808 Location: Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD 21287 Category: Support Services (Services/Trades) Schedule: Day Shift Employment Type: Full Time Overview The Paint Supervisor plans, schedules, assigns, directs and supervises the work performed by bargaining unit staff. Responsible for overall supervision of maintenance and repair work on the interior and exterior building surfaces. Assures work quality and progress in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement, JHH standards, and local, state and federal codes. This work is performed under limited supervision and using the tools and techniques of painting and plastering technology. What Awaits You? Requires 10 years related work experience, of which at least 5 years has been in a supervisory capacity. Knowledge of painting techniques, procedures and materials. Knowledge of safety rules, procedures and practices, including the proper use of safety equipment as defined by OSHA and industry standards. Functional knowledge of computer applications (PC- and network-based), including Windows, departmental e-mail, word processing, database, spreadsheet, and maintenance/work order processing applications packages. Salary Minimum $29.84/hour - Maximum $52.23/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
