RN Supervisor (3pm-11pm)

Facility: Acclaim Rehabilitation & Nursing Center Position: RN Supervisor Location: Jersey City, New Jersey Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Salary: Up to $48/hour Position Overview The RN Supervisor partners with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Associate Director of Nursing (ADON) to plan, organize, and oversee daily operations of the Nursing Department. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, promotes clinical excellence, and provides hands-on leadership to our nursing staff. Key Responsibilities Assist DON and ADON in developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing department policies and procedures Ensure nursing personnel adhere to their job descriptions and facility guidelines Participate in governmental surveys and inspections as requested Collaborate on residents’ discharge planning, updating written plans periodically Maintain appropriate staffing levels for each shift to safeguard quality of care Conduct daily rounds to monitor staff performance and report findings to the DON Address and document staff complaints or grievances, escalating as needed Welcome and orient newly admitted residents, escorting them to their rooms Accompany physicians on rounds and facilitate nursing support Oversee medication administration and treatment schedules for accuracy and timeliness Provide direct patient care as required Contribute to the development of preliminary and comprehensive resident assessments Participate in annual performance evaluations of LPNs and CNAs Qualifications Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing experience in long-term care, with demonstrated supervisory exposure Strong leadership skills and a proven track record in team management Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment Benefits 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Generous paid time off (PTO) Comprehensive medical and dental coverage Employee recognition programs and company-wide perks Supportive, team-oriented workplace culture Apply Today!
