Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices. Operates forklift safely following company standards, picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets. Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines and expectations, communicating progress, determining improvements, and adapting to change. Receives stocks and organizes merchandise from distribution centres, managing inventory flow and completing required paperwork. Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, providing guidance and promoting company products and services. Maintains facility safety through sweeps, forklift procedures, hazardous material handling and reporting unsafe situations. Maintains sales floor presentation, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged goods and ensuring promotional displays. Ensures club pick‑up orders are filled and staged within acceptable timeframes. Handles inventory movement safely, tracks goods, maintains in‑stock levels, reports poor inventory practices, and uses inventory tools. Operates and maintains forklifts safely, reports unsafe conditions and informs management of forklift issues. Proactively identifies customers who need help, assists with technology services, models and helps others, identifies shrink opportunities, and fixes problems. Embraces differences, builds trust and motivation, mentors others, upholds integrity and supports Walmart’s regenerative goals. Delivers results with customer focus and data‑based decisions. The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Minimum Qualifications 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification. Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks. Must be 18 years of age or older.
