Bakery Clerk FT

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Clerk to join our team full-time in Roxbury, MA.The Bakery Associateis responsible forpreparing, baking, packaging, and merchandising fresh bakery products. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to food safety standards, and excellent time management to meet daily production goals and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Strong merchandising skills to create appealing product displays. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team. Attention to detail and commitment to quality Prepare a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other bakery items according to store recipes or guidelines Operate ovens, mixers, proofers, and other bakery equipment safely and efficiently Package and label bakery products for retail sale, including use-by dates and ingredient labels Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery production and service areas Monitor inventory levels andassistin receiving and stocking bakery ingredients and supplies Follow production schedules and par levels to ensure product availability Ensure product quality, consistency, and proper presentation Provide friendly customer service whenassistingor answering questions at the bakery counter Follow food safety, allergen, and sanitation protocols Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of basic kitchen safety and sanitation standards Good communicationand teamwork skills Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts #J-18808-Ljbffr Vicente’s Supermarket
