Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required
• Previous experience in Operating Room Technology (ORT) strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to thrive under pressure in fast-paced surgical environments
• CPR/BLS certification required; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS) a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are available
• Scrub in and assist during surgeries by passing instruments and maintaining an organized, sterile field
• Anticipate surgeon needs and respond promptly to directions during procedures
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments to ensure proper inventory and patient safety
• Assist with room turnover, including proper decontamination and setup for subsequent cases
• Adhere to universal precautions and infection control protocols at all times
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation according to facility standards
