GroundskeeperCome work for the Best Employer in the Cedar Valley.Friendship Village is seeking a Full Time Groundskeeper to work with our Maintenance team performing general grounds maintenance and some maintenance and upkeep on buildings and apartments for our senior residents. As a Groundskeeper you will be responsible for tree trimming, lawn care, snow removal, other landscaping duties and general building maintenance.Friendship Village has built a workplace that cultivates creativeness, productivity, and enhances learning in a fun and energetic environment. At Friendship Village Retirement Community we look to hire the best of the best and those who are dedicated to going the extra mile.Working Hours:Hours will vary depending on the season but primary hours are 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday to Friday with rotating weekend coverage. Our facilities are open 365 days a year, so candidates must be flexible and willing to work any hours including weekends or holidays on an on-call basis as needed.Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of agePrior grounds keeping experience requiredAble to safely operate landscaping equipment without restrictionsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Residents, Staff and Guests.Ability to communicate effectivelyAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather.
