Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) to join our team. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of experience, with 3 years preferred. Experience in the operating room (OR) is mandatory. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.Patient TypesOutpatientInpatientEmergency Department (ED)Operating Room (OR)Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)PediatricsVented and Sedated PatientsProcedures and EquipmentThe majority of the position will involve work in the OR, using the following equipment:Carestream PortablesGE RoomsGE C-armPlease note that fluoroscopy procedures, such as lumbar punctures and gastrointestinal studies, are not required.Daily ResponsibilitiesTechnologists can expect to handle an average of 15-20 patients per day, focusing on both whole body and musculoskeletal imaging as well as neuro and portable examinations.Required Certifications and EducationBasic Life Support (BLS)Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Skills RequiredExperience with C-armFamiliarity with EPIC charting system (preferred)Level 1 or 2 Trauma experienceOR experience is essentialOrientation and SchedulingOrientation will be provided for 1 week. Scheduling includes varied shifts as needed, with a weekend rotation discussed during the interview. Holiday expectations and time-off approval processes will also be addressed during the interview.Additional InformationScrubs will be provided in blue OR procedural colors.
