Wearhouse Associate

Position Description Ryder is immediately hiring Warehouse Associates in Dallas, TX. Hourly Pay: $16.50 per hour. Benefits Warehouse positions pay each week. On the job paid training. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Six months of related warehouse experience required. One year or more related warehouse experience preferred. Ability to operate forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial equipment, including maintenance such as battery change and common mechanical issue recognition (intermediate proficiency required). May be required to operate manual or automated manufacturing equipment such as a packaging line (intermediate proficiency preferred). Powered industrial truck certification. Ability to read, perform basic mathematics, and understand safety and work instructions in English. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Ability to input data into the warehouse management system(s) in use. Work overtime as assigned. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Flexibility to operate and be self‑driven in a fast‑paced environment. Capable of multi‑tasking, highly organized, and possessing excellent time‑management skills. Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices. Responsibilities Package, kit, and/or assemble orders and materials. Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers, ensuring all scanning is completed correctly; help train dock employees on new procedures; secure the facility at shift end; investigate and resolve scanning or housekeeping issues; perform picking and packing duties; check for product or container damage. Perform assigned tasks as described in the location's policies and procedures, including handling of materials within associated logical transactions. Conduct material moves with associated physical and logical transactions as required. Participate in workgroup and team activities to improve warehouse operations and related business functions.
