Parts Counterperson

Harr Toyota is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Parts Counterperson to join our team in Worcester, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers and service technicians with their parts needs, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a smooth parts department operation.
Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct automotive parts and accessories.
• Maintain an organized and accurate parts inventory, including stock management and ordering.
• Provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone.
• Work closely with service technicians to support timely parts delivery and job completion.
• Process invoices and maintain accurate sales records.
• Ensure the parts department complies with all company policies and safety protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in an automotive parts counter or similar retail environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and terminology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to use inventory management software and basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
