Design Engineer

We are looking for a creative, resourceful, problem-solving Design Engineer to help create products that ensures there is clean water for all. Description: Our products and servicesare provided tomunicipal waste water and industrial facilities. This position will strive to improve our processes through the creation of non-existent products or modifications of existing products. Additionally, product enhancements, reducing costs, and design for manufacturability will be an emphasis for this role. As a Design Engineer, you will work under minimal supervision and draw solutions from your experience or the experience of those around you. The Design Engineer will be focused on a consistent review of our existing products as well as determining new products that should be included in our water/wastewater product offerings. You will evaluate design and function to assess the need for simplification, standardization, reliability, parts interchangeability, and cost reduction. Through healthy communication and collaboration, the Design Engineer will work to examine and analyze new applications/designs of products to determine feasibility of operation, manufacturing, and application. Your innovative and process improvement skills will help bring our engineering department to the next level. Skills: Three years of relevant engineeringexperience in an industrial environment. Water and wastewater equipment experience is a plus. Experience with CAD or other engineering and design tools. Effective technical writing and verbal communication skills. Positive attitude, tact, and diplomacy when dealing with vendors and/or customers. Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to establish priorities, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. A four-year technical degree (preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering - Mechanical Engineers, a PE license is highly preferred) or related experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Advanced Worker
