This position is the property expert on all HVAC/R equipment and will mentor other Techs.Status: full-timeAvailability: Shift time varies. Availability on weekends and holidays required.Payrate: $26-$32 per hour, depending on experienceESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Serve as property expert on all HVAC/R equipment.Completes work orders submitted for HVAC-R equipment within the property producing quality results in an efficient manner.Performs preventative maintenance and maintains logs in an organized manner.Identifies problems, initiates work orders, accomplished assigned work orders, and does all necessary repairs relating to their expertise.Performs duty rounds by using daily checklists. Reports on and corrects noted problems.Coach and mentor other Techs and provide them with knowledge and experience to help enhance their skills.Audit and inspect work of other techs and provide feedback, if needed.Responsible for correct use of building systems such as Building Management System and Life Safety Systems. (training provided).Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace. Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools in use.Work in a safe manner including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols.Responsible for correct use of maintenance request system. Training provided.Assist with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed.Job Category: DUCareersInMaintenance#IND100 #ZR75What are we looking for?QUALIFICATIONS:Four years’ experience in a similar HVAC/R position required.Associates degree or higher in HVAC/R or related fields preferredHVAC Certification preferred.EPA CFC Type I and Type II certification required. Universal certification preferred.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams and plumbing blueprints.Skilled with using tools required in this trade.Texas Driver’s License with good driving record preferred.Compensation:$26.00-$32.00+Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
