Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: - Duration: 13 weeks Shift: (1) 7am - 7pm and (1) 7pm - 7am Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1.5+ Years in an ICU/Floor setting License: Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan Certifications: Certified RRT, BLS Must-Have: - NICU experience - ABG Competent Description: Under general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, delivers life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and various medical gases therapy to patients. Performs invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures for Intensive Care and General Practice patients. Maintains clinical expertise for departmental assignments as needed. Communicates effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians, and other employees regarding patient care needs. Documents all aspects of patient care adequately. Supervises, directs, and delegates to Respiratory Therapists, externs, and students as assigned. Completes necessary and accurate patient billing information.
