Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives by helping them achieve their communication goals throughout the school year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work onsite with a dynamic K-12 population in a supportive educational setting. With a start date in late August and an end date in early June, you’ll play a key role in student development across a full academic year.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Possess an active Michigan SLP license (required)
• Prior experience supporting K-12 students preferred
• Comfortable working onsite within a school setting
• Candidates must hold a full SLP license; no Clinical Fellows at this time
• Skilled at adapting therapy approaches to individual student needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, staff, and families

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support student progress
• Work closely with general/special education teams to meet student IEP goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for K-12 learners
• Provide direct therapy and consultative services in person

This full-time assignment is 37.5 hours per week, however, there is flexibility to consider part-time candidates who are dedicated and qualified. You’ll enjoy the rewards of eliminating communication barriers for young learners and contributing to a vibrant community near Ann Arbor.
