The role requires the ability to adapt and float to various inpatient units, including Medical, Surgical/Pediatrics, Orthopedics/Neurology, and Sub-Acute Units. This position involves working every other weekend and holiday.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide optimum patient care.Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, standards of care, and State laws.Document patient care according to established standards.Develop, implement, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by a physician and in alignment with hospital policies, including patient and family education.Participate in departmental or unit performance improvement initiatives, which may include shared governance.Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other departments in support of the patient's longitudinal care plan.Employ critical thinking in regards to patient safety and experience, appropriately escalating concerns through the necessary chain of command.Client Details City Janesville State WI
