Requirements

• Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
• X-ray / Radiography Certification

Certification: Current certification as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA).
Skills: Demonstrated competency in chairside assisting during dental procedures.
Radiography: Ability to safely and accurately operate medical imaging equipment for image acquisition (taking X-rays).
Professionalism: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for quality patient care.

Job Description

Clinical Assisting: Provide efficient chairside assisting to the Orthodontist during all examinations and orthodontic procedures.
Radiography: Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) by operating medical imaging equipment while strictly adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.
Image Acquisition: Manage and acquire other necessary patient images and clinical photographs for treatment planning and records.
Patient Support: Prepare patients for treatments, ensuring their comfort throughout their clinic visit.
Clinic Maintenance: Manage and prepare the clinic operatory, including setting up instruments, equipment, and materials.
Compliance: Maintain a sterile and clean workspace, and assist with other responsibilities as assigned by the Orthodontist.
