Position Overview

We invite a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging professionals committed to excellence in patient care. Utilize leading-edge ultrasound technology to perform diagnostic evaluations, liaise with a collaborative team of healthcare practitioners, and provide reassurance to patients through timely and precise imaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly explaining each stage with empathy
• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imagery
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly noting any malfunctions
• Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and maintain patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

• Strong technical competency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
