We specialize in manufacturing wooden gift crates and are seeking dedicated Production Team Members to join our team. As a Production Team Member, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, contributing to the production and quality standards of our products.

We provide comprehensive on-the-job training to ensure your success in this role.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Operate brad nailers, sanders, power saws, and other woodworking tools.
2. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve production targets.
3. Maintain a steady workflow in a fast-paced environment.
4. Ability to stand and remain on your feet for extended periods.
5. Capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50lbs) and performing physical tasks as needed.
6. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure high quality standards.
7. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Prior production/warehouse experience preferred
2. Ability to work well on a team but be self-motivated and independent at times.
3. Ability to communicate accurately and effectively with other production team members
4. Proficiency in operating basic woodworking machinery and tools.
5. Prior experience in a woodworking or manufacturing environment preferred.
6. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks.
7. An eye for detail and quality aesthetic, and acute attention to detail.

Working Conditions

This position involves working in a warehouse environment where the use of power tools—such as pneumatic brad nailers and staplers, sanders, and power saws—is routine. Maintaining a safe working environment is essential. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided, and all associates must wear the provided PPE (as required). The working environment is dusty due to sawdust, and machinery noise is consistently loud.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is constantly standing and walking; frequently lifting, reaching, pushing, and pulling. The employee is required to routinely lift and/or move 20-30 pounds and occasionally to lift and/or move up to 45-50 pounds. The employee is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned as well have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing data and figures, transcribing, and viewing a computer terminal.
