Windows Systems Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Level 2 (L2) Windows System Engineer to support and maintain client Windows server environments. This role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and ensuring overall system stability.

This is a hands-on, client-facing position responsible for resolving escalated issues and maintaining secure, high-performing infrastructure.

Skills and Requirements

· 3+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or technical consulting.

· Hands-on experience supporting:

o Windows Server OS

o Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy

o Patch management tools (WSUS, SCCM, Intune, or similar)

· Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across identity, virtualization, and storage layers.

· Ability to communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to clients.

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field OR an Associate’s degree (AA/AS) with equivalent practical experience. · Experience with VMware or Hyper-V

· Exposure to Azure or hybrid cloud environments

· Familiarity with security and monitoring tools (e.g., Defender, Tenable)

· Microsoft certifications (MCSA, AZ-104, Security+)

· Experience supporting multi-site or hybrid environments.

· Prior consulting or professional services experience.
