Flexible 4, 8 & 12 Hour Caregiver Shifts Available We offer 4-hour, 8-hour, and 12-hour shifts , with daytime, evening, weekend, and other scheduling options available. Flexible per diem scheduling - choose shifts that work with your availability. Caregiver Pay & Benefits $21-$24 per hour Additional $2 per hour for weekend shifts - earn up to $26/hour 4-hour, 8-hour, and 12-hour shifts available Flexible scheduling based on your availability Paid sick/time off Caregiver Recognition Program Free CEU training Paid one-on-one, group, and online training Opportunities to work consistent ongoing shifts Support from a professional home care team Caregiver / Home Care Aide Responsibilities As a Caregiver with BrightStar Care, you will provide personalized, compassionate support that helps clients remain safe and comfortable in their homes. Responsibilities may include: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) Provide bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care assistance Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction Prepare meals and follow dietary needs or preferences Provide transportation to appointments, errands, shopping, and activities Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment Provide mobility and transfer assistance as appropriate Observe and report changes in a client's condition Document completed tasks and create accurate care notes for each visitFollow the client's individualized plan of care Maintain client privacy and follow all HIPAA requirements Caregiver Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable and insured vehicle Current CPR certification Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray Registered with the California Home Care Aide Registry 1+ year of professional Caregiver, Home Care Aide, Personal Care Assistant, or similar experience preferred Dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing excellent care Ability to reliably arrive on time for scheduled shifts Our BrightStar Care Core Values Be Open and Honest Be approachable, kind, empathetic, positive, and dependable.
