Make an impact in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive educational environment near Central Falls, RI. This contract opportunity allows you to utilize your expertise to help students improve their communication skills and reach their full academic potential.

Your role will revolve around providing high-quality speech and language services within a collaborative, school-based team, supporting students with a variety of needs across different grade levels.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; clinical fellows may be considered
• Previous experience in a school setting is an advantage

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting assessments to identify students' communication delays or disorders
• Developing individualized treatment plans and setting achievable goals
• Delivering direct therapy services, both individual and group, tailored to students’ needs
• Collaborating with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to support student progress
• Maintaining thorough documentation of services, evaluations, and progress notes
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary team
