About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Long Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: 2 years minimum preferred License: Valid State RN license Certifications: N/A Must-Have: Strong teamwork and communication skills Description: The RN partners with residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care. Candidates will work with residents requiring specialized care, tailoring approaches to meet individual needs. Key aspects of the role include the use of verbal and non-verbal communication techniques. Understanding difficult behaviors associated with patients requiring specialized care is essential. Nursing services may include IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management. Flexibility is required to cover 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Candidates must be willing to float to other units as needed. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the required qualifications.
