Construction Accountant.

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Construction Accountant to join a growing team in Lebanon, Ohio. This full-charge role will support the CFO and construction team by overseeing all financial transactions and accounting functions related to construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in construction accounting, a deep understanding of AIA Billing , and hands-on experience in project financial forecasting and reporting. Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr Details Job Title: Construction Accountant Location: Lebanon, Ohio Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Status: Actively Interviewing Responsibilities Maintain and manage the general ledger , including journal entries, cash receipts, and proper coding Handle full-cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes, including contract management, pay applications, and subcontractor billing Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements , including Work in Progress (WIP) reports Perform project performance analysis and forecasting in collaboration with the CFO and President Complete monthly reconciliations for cash, receivables, payables, accruals, and loan obligations Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner with vendors, clients, and internal staff Assist with annual external CPA review , CAT tax filings , and 1099 preparation Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required) Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction accounting Proficiency with Microsoft Excel , Word, Outlook, and accounting systems Prior experience with ComputerEase or similar construction accounting software is strongly preferred Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Self-starter with keen attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing and Finance Get notified about new Accountant jobs in Lebanon, OH. #J-18808-Ljbffr
