Job Description Executive Search Associates play a critical role in the execution of all facets of the executive recruiting lifecycle, from candidate identification to placement. Working closely with our expert Search Partners & Principals (Consultants) and connecting with team members across all levels of the Search team, Associates learn through hands‑on experience and receive world‑class training and mentorship in an apprenticeship‑like model. Our Associates assist Consultants in all aspects of the recruitment process—from developing the search strategy and managing its execution to supporting business development activities. They work with clients to develop position specifications, interview and assess candidates, build a pipeline of qualified candidates, conduct candidate referencing, and support client relationship management. While learning the Search industry, Associates invest significant time researching and learning about various industries, executive roles, and functions, collaborating with colleagues worldwide. Responsibilities Research & Writing: Conduct industry‑specific and client company research, map the executive talent landscape to bring market insights to the table; support Consultants in developing position specifications and focused search strategies; assist in preparing business‑development and assessment documents. Internal and External Communication: Contact prospective candidates to elicit interest, obtain referrals, and collect market intelligence; assist in conducting in‑depth interviews; manage candidate relationships throughout the lifecycle and keep Consultants updated. Ethics & Quality: Maintain accuracy, quality, and integrity of search information; produce status reports and client‑ready reports; manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver high‑quality work on time; uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and ethics. Qualifications Basic requirements: 3‑4 years of professional experience or a minimum of 2 years of transferable recruiting experience; undergraduate BA/BS degree required; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate with clients and candidates and influence relationships. Preferred qualifications: Prior experience in full‑life‑cycle recruiting in Executive Search, Contingent Search or In‑House Talent Acquisition, management consulting or sales‑research roles; experience targeting candidates, developing pitch materials, and conducting market research; proven ability to manage multiple projects across teams; analytical and research skills; Salesforce or other CRM experience; proven relationship‑building with diverse stakeholders.
