Focusing on long-term impact estimation, the remote Staff Data Scientist - Long Term Impact will develop frameworks to assess the causal effects of product changes over time, leveraging advanced causal inference methods and collaborating with various stakeholders. Key responsibilities: Develop causal estimates for long-term impact of short-term metric movements Build frameworks for estimating how the impact of product changes evolves over time Create tools to evaluate the heterogeneous impact of product changes Required qualifications: Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Operations Research, Economics, Mathematics, Physics) 6+ years of experience with a Ph.D. or 8+ years with a Master's in experimentation/causal inference domains Strong programming skills in R, Python, Scala, Java, C++, or equivalent Proven ability to design analytical solutions for complex real-world problems Familiarity with recent developments in causal inference
