Application Architect Client: Prime Therapeutics Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Software Architect Requirements: 10+ years of ‘Full Stack’ end-to-end development 7+ years of Cloud Native Application Development utilizing Test Driven Development practices 5+ years using Agile Delivery concepts and practices, including Pair Programming Experience designing and implementing Microservices Experience with public cloud providers and infrastructure as a service Documenting application design and decisions Experience performing design and code reviews Experience designing all aspects of the architecture of an application Experience with DevOps and CICD practices Strong communication skills ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders Collaborating with stakeholders to design and build or modify applications Preferred: Experience in a development enablement or advocate role Experience working directly with multiple Product Teams Position activities: Develop, document, operationalize and socialize Cloud Software Engineering patterns, processes, and technological building blocks Advise and mentor lead developers on application architecture, design, and principles as the primary technical resource Mentor and advise developers on cloud native and agile development concepts Provide technical runway for product teams to reduce friction and cognitive load for developers Foster collaboration across product teams and facilitate knowledge sharing across silos Technology Environment: Spring, Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, Vmware Tanzu, RabbitMQ, Kafka, GemFire, PostgreSQL, Mongo DB, WSO2, GitHub, Jira Required Skills: • 10+ years of 'Full Stack' end-to-end development • 7+ years of Cloud Native Application Development utilizing Test Driven Development practices • 5+ years using Agile Delivery concepts and practices, including Pair Programming • Experience designing and implementing Microservices • Experience with public cloud providers and infrastructure as a service • Documenting application design and decisions • Experience performing design and code reviews • Experience designing all aspects of the architecture of an application • Experience with DevOps and CICD practices • Strong communication skills ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders • Collaborating with stakeholders to design and build or modify applications Basic Qualification: Additional Skills: REMOTE Latest and greatest technology Longterm contract, 12 months to start with extensions Background Check: Yes Drug Screen: Yes Notes: This is a heads up to us and is exclusive to Apex for the time being.
