RN - Med Surg - PRN

Role Overview: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates care with other departments, upholds patient rights and confidentiality, and performs duties aligned with organizational standards and values. Key Responsibilities: Manages care for adult patients with diagnoses such as infections, respiratory issues, GI conditions, and COVID. Builds skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, acute medical care, and fast-paced patient management. Collaborates with team members and maintains compliance with standards. Qualifications: Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate, Diploma, or BSN), current RN licensure in Missouri or compact licensure, and BLS certification (within 30 days if not already held). Prior hospital experience is preferred. Skills & Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, and kneeling.
