House Supervisor (Registered Nurse Supervisor House Admin) The House Supervisor assumes shift accountability for the clinical and administrative functions of the hospital, including patient throughput, nurse staffing, transfer of patients in and out, and overall supervision of nursing practice. The House Supervisor also facilitates collaboration across departments and is available as a resource to all staff members working in the hospital during night shifts, weekends, and holidays. The incumbent demonstrates knowledge of hospital administration, nursing services, clinical services, information technology, and customer relations, and serves as the nursing and hospital representative engaging with all department heads to ensure high quality patient care and customer service. The role is accountable for overall fiscal management of the department, overseeing operational expenses and other expenditures. The House Supervisor participates in the design of organizational functions affecting hospital operations during off hours.
