Marathon Staffing is seeking Registered Behavior Technician.
Requirements:
- Must hold a current certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- Must possess and maintain an active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) license through the Nevada State Board .
- Experience working with individuals receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary treatment teams in an inpatient setting.
Job Description:
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct, one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT is responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies designed by the BCBA to support clients in achieving their goals.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Teaching communication, social, coping, daily living, and replacement skills.
- Implementing individualized Behavior Intervention Plans.
- Collecting and documenting data related to treatment goals and behaviors.
- Monitoring and documenting client progress and reporting findings to the BCBA.
- Reinforcing appropriate behaviors and utilizing behavior reduction strategies when necessary.
- Conducting preference assessments and collecting ABC data as appropriate.
- Assisting clients with generalizing learned skills across multiple settings and environments.
Within an inpatient setting, the RBT may:
- Provide one-on-one therapeutic sessions with clients.
- Assist clients in classroom settings and educational activities.
- Facilitate individual pull-out sessions and support therapeutic groups.
- Help clients practice skills throughout daily routines, including meals, recreation, hygiene activities, and transitions.
- Support clients in developing independence and maintaining behavioral consistency across the treatment environment.
The RBT works closely with the interdisciplinary treatment team by:
- Communicating client progress and concerns to the supervising BCBA.
- Following treatment recommendations and implementing prescribed interventions.
- Assisting Mental Health Technicians with behavior plan implementation.
- Promoting consistency in behavioral interventions throughout the unit.
The primary role of the RBT is to faithfully implement the treatment plan developed by the BCBA while providing direct support that helps clients achieve their individualized goals.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
