Key Responsibilities
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary oncology team
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with prescribed treatment plans
- Document patient care activities and treatment delivery accurately within the EMR system (EPIC)
- Collaborate with oncology team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current Radiation Therapy experience
- Active ARRT certification (Radiation Therapy)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Active Iowa state license or eligibility to obtain
- Valid driver's license
- Taxable home address must be located more than 50 miles from the assignment facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator (training available for qualified candidates)
- Previous travel therapy assignment experience
