Mike's Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to join our team in South Roxana, IL. As a family-owned business providing industrial and marine services, including tractor trailer and equipment repair, diesel engine repair, generator sales and service, and expert machining and fabrication, we offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on heavy equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems
- Conduct welding fabrication and torch cutting
- Complete oil changes and equipment repairs
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems
Required Skills:
- Experience with pneumatics and conveyor systems
- Proficiency in wiring and electrical troubleshooting
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
- Ability to perform welding fabrication and torch cutting
- Skilled in equipment repair and hydraulic systems
- Experience with Mitsubishi, Cummins, or John Deere
- CDL class B prefered
Salary and Benefits:
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
